Homeopathy
Definition
Homeopathy is a system of medicine based on the philosophy that “like cures like,” or “similar must be cured by similar.” The remedy must match the patient’s symptoms on all levels for the remedy to be considered “similar.” When the remedy matches the patient’s condition perfectly, the remedy is said to be the “simillimum.” This is the remedy that will produce complete healing.
Homeopathy’s miracle lies in its ability to treat the mental and emotional body and physical disease in tandem. As a result, homeopathy is truly holistic. While physical disease symptoms can be alleviated without healing the underlying mental and emotional disturbance, inevitably, the unhealed emotional pain will reappear on the physical level, sometimes in a more severe form.
What to expect in a Homeopathic Intake:
During a homeopathic intake, Dr Jayne uses a ground breaking method that accesses the unconscious mind to find a circuit that is causing stress. She has studied with Dr. Divya Chhabra from India for 10 years to become skilled in the diagnosis and choice of remedy, In this method there is one constant, the exploration of the unconscious brain as a controller of disease patterns. This is the foundation of the method “leap to the simillimum”. And, Its latest evolved avatar is based on the understanding of disease based on the “Pavlovian model of neural circuits”. Listen to “what to expect” to understand how the conscious and unconscious (automatic) brain work and just how they are a huge contributor to our health and disease. Learn how to break the patterns and the circuits that are causing disharmony and disease. This complete exploration normally takes 1.5-2 hours and covers emotional conflicts, physical symptoms dreams, food, fears and more, all giving a specific remedy that will break the circuit and the cause of stress and physical illness.
What to expect after a remedy:
A conflict is only powerful when focused on and is usually central to emotional pain and then physical ailment. With the conflict removed a patients’ can expect to feel more energized, youthful, happier, vibrant, and notice a remarkable improvement and change for the better in disease symptoms. It can also bring about positive transformations in relationships and the quality of life for patients. Patients’ will notice with treatment, that their life moves more in the direction of their desire; they find they can accomplish goals and fulfill dreams. Patients have indicated they gained more insight into their life in one homeopathic intake than during years of therapy,

Some ways to ensure success:
With Jayne patients can expect to get better, and results can be curative as the following are adhered to as closely as possible.
1.) Listen to – What to expect during your first homeopathic visit (just click the yellow button above, under the tree) Approach healing with a positive attitude. Expect to get well, expect to succeed, know that you deserve to be healthy!
2.) Patients must be committed to their wellness and come to appointments consistently.
3.) Sometimes there must be a willingness to be patient. Healing may be a longer process with alternative medicine. Improvement may be gradual over a period of time, but often healing is permanent. Taking prescription drugs removes the symptoms immediately but side effects are common and the original cause still remains.
4.) Patients must take responsibility for their own wellness. The homeopath is a facilitator and a guide to help patients “help themselves“.
5.) Follow the practitioner’s advice and instructions as closely as possible. For example: being consistent with taking the remedies.
The Story of Homeopathic Medicine & It’s Principles
Homeopathy came to be in the early 19th century through the intensive work of a German medical doctor by the name of Samuel Hahnemann. Born in Germany in 1755, and graduating from medical school in 1779 (specializing in chemistry), he went on to write the primary influential book describing a new way of approaching health and disease called “The Organon of Medicine” in 1810. In this book he writes:
“The highest ideal of therapy is to restore health rapidly, gently, permanently; to remove and destroy the whole disease in the shortest, surest, least harmful way, accordingly to clearly comprehensible principles.”
Homeopathy prides itself in being gentle, yet thorough. In addition, it aims to address the entire person, not just the disease, and not just the affected parts. In homeopathy (and naturopathic medicine) it is understood that the individual is more than the sum of its parts. At conception, every living thing begins as one cell and from that one cell all other cells are derived. As Rajan Sankaran says in his book “The Spirit of Homeopathy”(1992):
“There is no medicine for any particular disease, but there is a medicine for the patient suffering from the disease.”
By seeing the individual as more than the sum of its parts, we understand that a person is “whole and complete, functioning as a totality in relation to the universe surrounding us”, and that “the most effective, indeed the only, way to cure illness is to increase the health of the afflicted person”. In this holistic approach to health the homeopath/ naturopath uses the inner healer in the affected individual to reestablish a state of well being, and “thus, the primary responsibility for the recovery of his health is placed upon the shoulders of the client himself.” (Vithoulkas 1979)
At this point two questions can be answered: What does the “inner healer” mean, and why do homeopathic remedies work if there is no actual molecular content present in the medicines? These questions perhaps can be answered by asking two more questions: What is the force that propels the immune system, and \what is the animating substance that differentiates a living human from a corpse? In homeopathy the substance responsible for life and health is known as the vital force.
“The vital force is an influence which directs all aspects of life in the organism. It adapts to environmental influences, it animates the emotional life of the individual, it provides thoughts and creativity, and it conducts spiritual inspiration.” (Vithoulkas 1979)
The key word in this description of the vital force is “adapt”, in that it is a defense mechanism that allows for flexibility in stressful conditions. A diseased state sets in when the vital force can no longer adapt. Homeopathy works by ‘awakening’ the individual’s own vital force to heal by using a similar disease-like state (i.e. the homeopathic remedy), which is stronger than the actual disease state of the individual. Since homeopathic remedies are prepared in such a manner that only the dynamic energy of a diseased state is captured and no actual molecular content is left to cause disease, the vital force has the strength to overcome this disease-like state and simultaneously remove the actual disease.
“In other words, natural disease agents [actual disease] have only a subordinate and conditional, often very conditional, power to alter human health, while medicinal forces [homeopathic remedies] have a far superior power to do so, one that is absolute and unconditional.” (Organon of Medicine)
It is through homeopathic medicine that we clearly see each person contains the power to restore a state of well being, provided the correct homeopathic medicine is applied.
